Photos taken during the Sertoma Cajun Air Show Nov 1-2, 2008. Many photos taken during the pre-show practices on Oct 30. Our photos of the USAF Thunderbirds (F-16C Falcons) and a few of a F-18 Hornet were taken from our home about 2 miles from the Lafayette Regional Airport. Weather was beautiful! clear and upper 70's. They circled and flew overhead during their maneuvers quite a bit, often just above the tree tops on their approaches to the air field. And you can't believe the awesome noise as they passed over us...shook the ground for sure!
